Puppy Board & Train Video Playlist
You can watch Puppy Board & Trains in work and the follow-up lessons that are included to help transfer the Obedience and understanding to the owners. These videos serve as a resource for our clients to go back and refer to. We believe in complete transparency when working with clients and prospective clients and want those interested to be able to see how we work and the knowledge we bring.
The ‘Learn To Earn’ Program
Canine Perspective’s Puppy Board & Train uses the late Sophia Yin’s ‘Learn To Earn’ Program paired with the use of a Gentle Leader or Prong Collar. Front clip harnesses are only acceptable for short-snouted breeds like French Bulldogs for example. Once teaching the behavior your puppy will be taught to apply these actions as default to lead to more ‘polite’ behaviors. This program is meant for puppies under 6-months who need help with establishing a potty schedule, crate training, and foundational basic obedience. A Puppy Board & Train is the equivalent of kindergarten for humans.
For life-long lasting results, Canine Perspective suggests waiting until 6-months and enrolling your adolescent puppy into a standard Board & Train with a remote collar. Dogs can be trained up to full off-leash reliability using the e-collar method and style of training. Even as young as 6-months.
